There is a large en-suite bathroom with a deluxe shower, wash hand basin and a wc. All of the pods are centrally heated and fully insulated. Exmoor is renowned for its flora and fauna, the scenery is spectacular in the warmer months with heather flowering and the gorse growing. There are numerous places to visit, many mapped walks through wooded valleys and open moorland, it really is a spectacular and breath-taking place to visit.

Very good menu with local produce and a very nice dining room. Scrambled egg and smoked salmon was delicious for breakfast. A very small criticism .......maybe serve lovely crusty bread rather than ordinary sliced bread.
Perfectly positioned lodge rooms are to the rear of the pub overlooking the valley with sheep, ponies and copious species of birds. They are exceptionally clean and so quiet, even at midnight on New Year’s Eve, we looked out onto darkness and silence.
